Cheryl is the newest member of Rock-It. Cheryl plays saxophone and flute and replaces Steve Fergerson after his passing in January of 2025. While replacing Steve is a hard task, Cheryl has stepped up to the plate to help Rock-It carry on. Cheryl is married to Steve Marchand, the drummer for MJ and the Redeemers and she has also been a music teacher for various schools in Baton Rouge.

Bob Jullens
Bob Jullens provides the band’s male lead vocals and injects his energy into every show. The former frontman for the 80’s power trio, Oxyn, Bob has been a member of such notable bands as Home Brew, Twist of Fate, Raising Cane, Rock-It Sound Company (now Rock-It) and Sessions. With the ability to sing virtually any style of music, Rock-It’s versatility is almost unlimited.
Born in the Netherlands, he immigrated to the United States in 1981 and became a US citizen in 1990. He remains bilingual. Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Louisiana University and is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Paralegal Program. He has been a paralegal / Notary Public for Michael C. Palmintier since 1996. (palmintierlawgroup.com)
Bob was a member of the US Army National Guard (Co.C 2/156th INF (Mech) – Houma, LA) where he attained the rank of Sergeant, and proudly served during Operation Desert Storm.
Bob is married and has two children, a stepdaughter, and two grandchildren.
Tina Mancuso
Tina Mancuso was born and raised in the Central area. She began singing while in elementary school. Over the years, Tina has worked with many local bands, both as a musician as well as a booking agent. Most recently, before proudly joining Rock-It, she served as lead singer for more than 20 years for the Carbon Copy Band, which was voted by the public as Baton Rouge’s top wedding/party band several years before the band’s retirement.
In her professional life, Tina was a radio and television personality. She most notably was the television spokesperson for University Ford.
Tina is also a prolific and skilled costume designer. All of the costumes displayed in the gallery of photos below were handmade by Tina herself.
Tina and her husband, David, are owners / operators of Gateway Roofing.
Dale Craft
Back in high school around 1973 I was approached by a trumpet and sax player who had heard that I played guitar and wanted to form a band. That band became Freeze, an 8-piece horn band that played funk music. Freeze was the house band for the club Smackwater Jacks for two years and went on to perform regionally all over the south. I switched over to playing keyboards in 1975. Although I left the group in 1978, they continued to perform for several years after that.
I got married (to a girl that used to come to Smackwaters to listen) and had 4 children. I did not play music again until my wife convinced me to join Zeagler Music’s Weekend Warriors program in 2001. Out of this we formed the 6 piece band ColorBlind which performed regularly until disbanding in 2015. In 2003 I joined the band Storywood and played in both bands until 2015. I continued to play with Storywood until our last gig in 2018.
I also played with Westbound Train from 2010-2011 and Boss Tweed from 2011-2015.
I joined the 80s rock band Ivory White in 2021 and played with them until they broke up in 2022.
As a sub for the band Rock-It Sound several times since 2017, I joined their reformed band now simply Rock-It in 2022 and after a few personnel changes (the addition of a female singer, sax, and trumpet players) we are now an 8-piece band ready to play. We also have a trio Real Sugah’ which should start performing in 2024.
I also became a Santa Claus in 2017 and perform at parties and events in November and December.
Mike Loisel
Mike Loisel has been a staple of the Baton Rouge / New Orleans music scene for more than 40 years and is the founder of Rock-It. A veteran bass player, his credits include bands such as Route 66, Ocean, Rollover, Home Brew, Raising Cane, Real Sugah and Johnny Stassi And The Wild Hares. In addition to playing music, Mike is also an accomplished sound engineer, running sound for Rock-It and other bands such as Sessions. Mike can be found most Sunday mornings donating his time working sound for Fellowship Church in Zachary.
Mike works outside sales for Vector Sales, distributor of Air Distribution and HVAC Equipment, including MacroAir fans.
Reggie McCue
Reggie was raised in Gretna, La. on the Westbank of New Orleans. After several years of piano lessons,
he started playing trumpet in fifth grade when a personal friend of the family introduced him to the
sound of the instrument and the horn section of the legendary group Chicago. Reggie’s trumpet playing
really took off when he went to high school at Archbishop Shaw in Marrero, La. He joined the Shaw
Eagle Marching Band, concert band and jazz band. He performed with the marching band in Mexico City
and Washington D.C where he soloed on the steps of the U.S. Capitol for the Louisiana Congressional
delegation. While in high school, Reggie was selected to play in the stage band for the Immaculata High
School Guitar Group which later became the stage performing ensemble called ‘Celebration!’. While in
Celebration! He performed at the 1984 Louisiana World’s Fair. During his time in The Immaculate Guitar
Group and Celebration! he performed on the recording of several albums.
After high school, Reggie attended LSU to major in Management and Marketing. While at LSU he
marched in the LSU Golden Band From Tigerland, played in the LSU Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and the
Basketball Pep Band. Since college, he has performed in various small ensembles such as The Village
Church Lutheran Chamber Winds and the praise band at First Baptist Church of Slidell with an occasional
visit at Zoar Baptist Church. He also performed regularly with the cover band Carbon Copy and is part of a
Jazz Trio, Third Degree Smooth, with Steve Fergerson and Dane Arnold.
Reggie and his wife Melinda reside in Mandeville, La. and have two sons, Ryan and Connor, a daughter-
in-law, Lauryn (all three are trumpet players) and a grand-daughter, Willa (a future trumpet player).
Bill Bozeman
Bill Bozeman is a classically trained pianist and one of the best harmony singers in the business. Bill has been performing for live audiences since he was a child and has performed with numerous bands throughout his career. A founding member of Rock-It Sound Company, he played until his retirement from the band in 2020.
Bill is married with 3 children and is a long time employee of Dow Chemical Corporation.

Mike Patton
Mike Patton returns as Rock-It’s lead guitar player. Originally from Michigan, Mike Patton has been a Louisiana resident for over 35 years. Classically trained, he has spent most of his life playing in church and with several local bands. This will be Mike’s second stint with the band and he is excited to re-join Rock-It Sound Company’s as their new lead guitar player.
Mike is a certified financial planner and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kitty and his children.
Mike Mancil
Mike Mancil, a veteran of the US Navy, is an experienced guitar player, having played in various bands since the 1990’s. Mike has been in bands such as Dixie Blues, The Hard Drivin’ Lincolns, Knot II Worry, Bayou Honey and Big Mike And The Smokebox Revival.
In addition to his musical abilities, Mike is also the founder/ CEO of Patriot Guitars and the founder/administrator of the very popular Face Book Forum “The World’s Okayest Guitar Player”.
Mike is married and has 3 adult children.
